2024 Annual Roy Bradley Oration
The 2024 Annual Roy Bradley Oration, our sixth, will be delivered by Pádraig Ó Tuama
from New York on Sunday 13th October 2024 – 7.30 pm AEDT, via Zoom
In this lecture “Things Known and Strange”, Pádraig will consider poetry – his own, and that
of others – to address the human condition; what we can know about each other and
ourselves, as well as what is strange.
“Padraig Ó Tuama is a compelling poet and skilled speaker, broadcaster, teacher & group
worker. He was the leader of the Corrymeela Community (2014-2019), Ireland’s oldest
peace & reconciliation community. With undergraduate & postgraduate degrees in
theology, he is well versed in conflict mediation (specialising in groups).
